It is a story about a long journey through several generations of women. Each of them experienced life, each of them also fought a struggle, often unnoticed or ignored by the world. This fight left a clear mark that was both hidden and carefully cultivated by subsequent generations.
The artist, through her paintings and words, unearths those stories that are an integral part of her identity, breaking the spell of silence and concealment.
Anna tells the stories of women who couldn’t tell them themselves. Each of these stories contained wounds that had been kept silent by the women before them. Anna sensitively weaves these stories into a metaphysical ballad in which she pays tribute to the strength and courage of her ancestors.
